Cycle through beautiful nature reserves, along majestic, long lanes and past beautiful country estates. Oranjewoud and Heerenveen and the surrounding area is a cyclists’ paradise, with lovely routes through various nature reserves, each with their own unique character.
Before heading off on your bike, why not first enjoy a tasty cup of coffee on the terrace of the Grand Café Tjaarda. It is the perfect spot to catch your breath after cycling, or to herald the start of a lovely walk, bike ride or one of the many other activities on offer in and around Oranjewoud.
